Basically, did you disarm the alarm before you took the battery out? And then take out the fuse for the alarm. This is what has knackered me, apparently. Or I have spiked the alarm battery.

Reckon it'll be covered by the warranty?
(The alarm's a PITA anyway )

#### it. I've decided to get another bike, I just can't bear to be without two wheels for much longer...it's been around a year now since I sold the Viffer. I'm on the lookout for a 98-03 Mille. I test drove one today and it felt bloody brilliant.
I just need a couple of months to save the cash and then I'm getting one...

Shame you weren't after one about 8 months ago.
Mate had a Y plate (IIRC) Mille R.
Now has a nice R1 instead.
Do they still have the bike club meets at Sultan?

Is this Sultan place the one with all the reprobates wearing daft berets and naff uniforms that I drive past everytime I go do a clinic in Haslar?
They still have the motorbike club going...I only went to a handful of meets when I had the VFR as I was on a Guzz based ship (cheers Drafty you tw*t). They always seem to be pestering us in Collingrad for some charity money.
Collingwood has it's club too, although much smaller and generally full of nerds trying to connect an oscilloscope onto their bikes to work out what sort of rectifier bridge is built into the alternator.
