Anyone going to the bike show at Excel?

I'm going on Friday 30th Jan, with a few mates.

On another note I have just been renewing my insurance, and got a cracking quote from Footman James -

That's sound good.

I don't use mine anywhere near as much as you do yours, but I think I need to have a few extra bits on the policy.

At the moment I'm FC SDP only - no commuting + riding other bikes and limited to 3,000 miles a year.

But for

Nice.

Dan will be along to tell you about Spain.

I'll be looking to do some trackdays in the UK next year. (only a novice though!)

Yep, TT's are cracking bikes - this is my 2nd! Very underrated IMO. Have replied to your PM

euan - are you referring to my VFR?! I used to be an accountant as it happens! The VFR is a cracking road bike - as quick as a 600 in a straight line, reasonably nimble on all but the twistiest of twisties, and takes me and the missus with panniers and top box fully loaded away no problems - perfect for my needs.

The TT is for general hooliganism and track days

I also am an accountant.

VFR (I had an 800FiW which got written off hence the VTEC) was my first bike, but the more I ride it the more I like it. Very versatile and seems forgiving in that's it's never chucked me off, despite my occasional inadvertent attempt at crashing it.

How is the throttle/fuelling on yours? I don't think mine is the worst of them, but it still periodically gives me grief sometimes.
