I love the look of it and the size/weight is perfect, but i've only sat on it, just passed my test.
Everyone here tells me it's too hardcore for my 75 mile commute and i should go for an R6 or a CBR 600F

The R6 is probably the worst of the lot in the 600ss class for commuting comfort, people are advising the older generation R6's ( ie not the one above ) Best thing i would suggest is if you want the Honda, see if one of the dealers will allow you to go for a decent test ride on one thats at least a good hour and see how you get on. Then wait a few days and see if you get any aches and pains in the back and wrists. If not then cool, if so, try something else.

I have one you can use, you'll just have to come and get it![biggrin.gif](https://www.s2ki.com/forums/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
Probably cheaper in the long run to buy your own.
It basically keeps the battery topped up for you, shouldn't need to do anything else.
Then in April get the bike to Cirencester![wink.gif](https://www.s2ki.com/forums/images/smilies/wink.gif)

If you really want something just for commuting, I would be inclined more towards a sports tourer.

not just for commuting. primarily a toy but needs to be capable of the commute is how i'd position it.
i'm only 4' too... well 5'8
rew's extended test ride idea sounds a good one.
