So how many miles did we all clock up this year?

There are still 3 months to go ...... and I pick up my Duke tomorrow morning

So far this year I have done less than a thousand miles.

A fecked knee stopped me riding for the first 4-5 months of the year and it is becoming increasingly difficult to use the bike for getting to work

True, maybe I should have said season, a lot people SORN their bikes from Oct.

Hope the Duke works out for you. Bad back and to a lesser extent dodgy knees was why I didn't go the sports bike route in the end, even though I really wanted a blade. No regrets with the Street though and no aching back or knees either

Don't forget, once you get the new one PIX PIX PIX

I came into work on the Harley today, but it was chuffin' cold on the M1 this morning.
I've only been wearing jeans (as they are suitable attire at work now) to save messing around when I get in, but if I decide to continue to ride in much longer I might have to start wearing the leathers

I Think my reading is 1,300 since I picked it up in August.

I know ... But remember, Harleys don't go that fast.

Reminds me ...
Brother-in-law's GF is a paramedic.
They went to an "off" the other night.
The rider came a cropper doing about 150mph + and his bike slid for nearly a mile. He stopped a few hundred feet shorter.
Needed a new ar$e apparently

His son who was following admitted doing 130 while his pa was pulling away
Tis mental if you ask me

I managed just bit under 3k which considering I don't do any touring or other long distances I'm quite pleased with. I've really bonded with the Street Triple, there's really not much to criticise about it
On the CBR600 it was about 13k all done by commuting. No pleasure rides.

On the new bike (CBR 954) I've done 2000 in 3 weeks. 1/3 of that was a trip to the IoM last weekend which was my first bike trip for over 2yrs.

In the S I've done ~7k miles, almost entirely on weekends.

Matt
