What do people think about aftermarket exhausts for bikes?

Poole motorcycles were trying to persuade me to buy a Termignoni exhaust;

I have Micron exhausts on mine, no real benefits other than being loud

Downside is that you attract attention to yourself with the police

Termignoni are Italian and usually make exhausts for Ducati. However, the MotoGP Yamaha (Rossi's team) bikes along with the Yamaha Italia Superbike team use them. High quality exhausts and that is a good price really. Mine cost a lot more but that was a few years ago.

I had carbon, oval (Remus) cans on both of my R6s as I was parking the bikes in London every day and didn't want the OEM can damaged.

If you stick a race can on you will need to get the fuel injection altered to suit.

I have a power commander also with a K&N filter. The fuelling was set up properly on a dyno too.

How do I do that?

What's a power commander?
