Owing to the dire weather on Sunday and Monday I waited until yesterday for my Bank Holiday ride.
I headed for Wales, specifically Llandovery and the Cambrian mountains to the North.
Here are some photos:
First in front of the main entrance to my old school and then in front of the main rugby pitch:
Then on the road up to Llyn Brianne:
At Llyn Brianne:
Up above Llyn Brianne:
Although the road up past the lake is single track with passing places and lots of woolly bollards, it's reallly a terrific road - if you're ever in the area head North from Llandovery following signs to Cilycwm and Llyn Brianne. From the lake head further North and after a few miles you have the optons of heading North West towards Tregaron and Aberystwyth or east towards Beulah and Llanwyrtd Wells.
Either way this area is biking heaven.

I think that's the most mods I have ever seen on a K1200s
Nice pics.
Is that an aftermarket seat cowl?

The cowl is actually a storage pod which can be locked.
The pod in my picture is a temporary one as they didn't have one painted in stock so they have lent me that one.
The only mods are the exhaust, the seat and the MRA double bubble screen. The only addition is the GPS fitting for my Garmin.
