Couple of questions:

Anyone done any advanced training? Views, comments, recommendations?

Secondly my summer gloves are way past their best. Any recommendations for a decent pair, not too worried about price within reason.

TIA

I've done the "bikesafe" day - was good fun, but I'm not sure you'd class it as advanced training though

I've had some trackday traing too

Summer gloves (only gloves in my case) I have Alpinestars GP something or other - kangaroo (not sure if that means you bounce better with them )IIRC they were about

I had been looking for a pair of armoured summaer gloves for ages and struggled to find any that weren't designed for orangutangs or midgets until I had a look at a few Richa's - they seem to be made for folk with normal hands.

The Alpinestar waterproof gloves I have are a totally different fit to their summer gloves that look much the same

BSB Donnington

Was suprised it wasnt busier down there, but think some were probably put off by the weather forecast. The rain held off but it was cold!
