went for a blat down to headcorn and back and after 23 years driving just got my 1st points.

they picked me up as they were joining the m26

whats highly embarrassing they followed me (looking at tom tom) for about 3km and timed me between 2 bridges over 1.2km

in a fully marked car


oh well lets face it the only thing rear view mirrors on a sports bike are good for are admiring your elbows!

nice enough chap, said he couldnt fault my riding and awarness of things in front of me and and said view conditions wasn't overly concerned about my speed and that over the time he followed me it stayed constant. but commented, fair enough, that i should have picked him up sooner.

i pointed out on a bike the trouble wold be more likely ahead and thats where my focus was.
