WRT new Blade; I'm not sure I care much about any power difference. If I wanted huge power I'd go for the new Kwak with a claimed 200bhp

Even 3 years old+ models will have more than adequate power. Ride em both and see which one you feel most comfortable on. Both are great looking bikes.

I like the colour scheme on that Honda though.

so, I'm in love with 08 R6S.

about the pull the trigger on it, but http://home1.gte.net/res0ak9f/bike.htm is pissing me off.

How many of you got in an accident and got seriously hurt? or know people that got seriously hurt?

I just want to know. I've always heard of people getting hurt but never actually met anyone that did.

thanks.

Were any of them wearing leathers?

Dan came off once. His brain's never been right since.

Nah not yet. I'll try and sort out a back to back test when I get back from holiday after Easter.
I think there is a Yam dealer near Twickenham and there is a Honda dealer in Tolworth, so it should be doable in one day.

Have you tested them? Any thoughts?
Twickenham one (although it's in Hanworth) is just round the corner from me - West London Yamaha. . .

You're looking at the old Blade then - not the '08??

Just had this sent through:

[I]
Practice makes perfect

In the second of our articles from California Superbike School's Andy Ibbott, we look at clutchless shifting and the misconceptions associated with the art.
Getting the bike through the box quickly and smoothly as possible should be one of our riding goals. At those times when we are riding to high degrees of excitement and fun, shifting quickly is just as important as how we are going to tackle the fast approaching bend. After all, if you have to back off, close the throttle, pull the clutch in, shift, let the clutch out and try and match the engine revs it can become distracting and draw your attention away from the next turn.

What is interesting are the misconceptions some riders have of the clutchless shift. The most common is that it will destroy your gearbox. That
