I suspect you may be biting off a tad more than your much loved Triumph can chew there

No, I don't think so and the press agree. I rode all its competitors (bar the bandit if you can call it a competitor) and only the Hornet got close.
The censorship in their reports is unbelievable , and strongly linked to advertisers.
Pleased that you chose the bike on your test ride results

Any of you guys been to the bike show this week or heading there this weekend?
I was planning on going on Sunday. It will probably be really busy, last day and all, but I've not been before.
Any tips on what to see, what to miss etc?

I've only ever been to the Scottish bike show and my abiding memory is of thick crowds (mostly caused by beer guts ), body odour, and the disappointing quality of the stand burdz.
I never went to the stunt shows as they were pretty packed, but worth going to I would imagine.
If you know what kit you want, then it's a good chance to buy stuff at show discount. If you buy from the reputable folk, you should be OK changing it later if it is faulty.
If Nick Sanders is there flogging his books etc at a discount, his DVD of "fastest man around the world" is excellent, but don't buy the accompanying book (one of the worst books I have ever read).

Nice to see JT up for SPOTY. I know he won't win it, but he deserves the recognition.
In some ways, it's a better win than F1 because there were a lot more contenders for the title. And he actually won it! (not come 2nd)

I remember when Foggy one his 4th world championship (I think) and no one else won anything significant that year.
He still didn't win.
I guess it's not a popular enough sport yet
