Passed the theory a few weeks ago before I'd had a go on a bike!
Booked up one more 125 lesson and will then probably go for DAS.
Will see how it goes....

What's this doing on page 2?
Ok, going to buy a new lid in the next couple of weeks. Currently got an Arai Quantum F, which I love other than it's bloody noisy. Looked at Roofs as I know they are quiet but don't really like the syling.
Probably going to get another Arai, but a bit out of touch so any recommendations?
TIA

Donington was great
I started off in the intermediate group which had a few race boys and some other people who should have probably been in the advanced group and I was being overtaken by everything.
That didn't do my confidence any good. At the end of the session I realised that I hadn't done a trackday (other than the RAF airfield day one) for about 3 years so I was very rusty.
I made the decision that I would get myself moved down in to the novice group. I'm glad I did.
On my first novice session I felt much more comfortable, giving myself time to learn the circuit better without worrying about people flying past me, although I did get passed by a few people.
After that I felt much happier and I was improving well. For the last 3 sessions I wasn't overtaken by anything!!
Great day out, although a slight dampner in that one of my mates was involved in a collision - which if it was a race would have been a racing incident, but as it was a trackday I would say it was a young lad being a tit

Pros: Quality, comfort, excellent venting, weight
Cons: Shitty visor change mechanism, VERY NOISY
It's finally OK with custom fitted earplugs, but I will probably look for something quieter when it needs replaced
