i love the Daytona.. its a lot more nimble than its predecesor, and looks very nice.

but San, i think you barking mad.. why spend so much money on your first bike yet be prepared to skimp on kit?

the latter will save your skin, literally - make sure its good quality, with double stiching as a minimum on the leather joins. make sure what ever you get, you get good armour too. I swear by the KNox back protector - it saved my spine in an accident. best

I'm heading off to Oxford this afternoon and staying there tonight.

Coming back via Hungerford and should be back home by 2 ish.

Possibly...Steven's going to have a look at a bike for me today. It sounds like he can't make it tomorrow.

If he gave it the , I was going to go up tomorrow and buy it.

Would be cool to have a biker up there with me to see if they answer any questions I have sensibly, and help with choosing gear.

Followed by lunch, my shout.
