No quotes yet....just thinking out loud.

The R6 is great. Just wanted something newer as the warranty is running out now.
Don't you get a 2 year warranty, or was yours not brand new?

Bike magazine didn't seem overly impressed with the concept and reality of the variable GSX IIRC.

No, but they are impressed with the CBR600RR. Hmmm....

Euan, it was a year old when I got it.

I'm contemplating hitting Woolly Bollard Tour territory on mine at Easter - have some time off later in April too.

san,

wouldnt get too het up with warranty. i bought my cbr as a 4 yr old bike 2 years ago and have not had a single problem and suspect commuting within london puts a lot more strain on brakes/engine etc than spirited open road riding and it lives outside.

also insurance is an issue. with it mine went down a hudge amount after the 1st year, even though i had 2 yrs ncb when i bought it (ie about 100%)

be honest, you want new, shiny toy.

What you on about Dan? Yours is probably cleaner than last year, seeing as you haven't been riding it.
