Can meet up in Bicester, M40 junction. 8am? actually i don't really care about the time, but earlier means less traffic on the road.
Definitely be up for that at some stage, need to get the service sorted and check weekends etc..

On a separate note, whats the best stuff to remove oil/grease caked on the swingarm and chain guard, etc?
you can buy dedicated degreasers, but for something which works equally as well and a shed load cheaper, try white spirit - Remember to rinse well.

WD40 and silicon sprays work wonders too.

Mr Sheen for your plastics.

It's alright for someone with spidey legs like you!!

My Mum can do it on her bike easily enough, she the same height as you.

my stand is a lot easier - it slides into the rear wheel hub (single sided swing arm).

but if i had the cash, i would get a centre stand jobbie. fixes onto the swingarm pivots, allowing either wheel off the ground.

Ditto.

Just been out for a wobble. Never felt very fast but the speedo always contadicted this.

Twat in a BMW overtook me doing about 60 in a residential 40 limit

I went fairly fast, hard not too when you have one of these

The speedo showed over 40 for a while.

But the gear indicator in front of it must have been faulty, I'm sure I was in 5th or 6th not 1st
