yep the stand is all you need.
the first couple get someone to help you just for your own confidence.
bike on side stand ...get paddock stand tip it until handle is up by the undertray...hold bike up level using back seat slide in stand until the 2 u brackets sit under swing arm.push down on handle make sure its seated on swing arm right then push down.
at first take your time untill you get used to it, in the end i could get mine on the stand on my own in 5-10 seconds it is very easy .

btw ...mine was gsxr600 k2 which is alot fatter than the r6 my friend has an r6 did the same as me got rid of micron stand and bought the one your getting
