Great pic Ali - the mountain @ Cadwell?
It was indeed. I think it must be every rider's favorite photo spot! It's easy to look like you know what you're doing with the front wheel in the air.!

A couple more:

My 1st year racing, Coram @ Snet

My Superlight being lent to a friend just after I bought her.

I've wanted a Jap inline four for years (I had a brief love affair with a ZX6R), but they're just to damn fast at a time when my mind is slowing down. A bit like heroin, I don't need to try it to know I'd like it and it'd all end in tears in the end.....

Cheers,

Ali

But given that Rosie only had 60bhp I could always attack the mountain with the throttle wide open and just shift weight to suit. Try that on yours and you'll need a skip to pick up the pieces!

I have seen someone completley loop it over the mountain, and I was standing on the second tier of the paddock. There was nothing really salvageable from the remains

If you've owned an R1 for more than a few months and it's still in one piece then you're doing ok in my book!

Any tips on wheelying technique? I shit myself when I feel the front end even slightly rising.

I'm on my second one now

I "fell" off the one above at Castle Combe it was wet and I low-sided

I've seen someone at the mountain being vertical on a GSX-R600 (he was in 1st, thought it was 2nd and opened the throttle too much) there was a picture taken just as he and the bike parted company Ouch followed
