Very much theft. There's an Act somewhere specifically dealing with this issue afaik.

That's what I thought too.

But what the news seems to be saying is if you are leaving your details and what you took it is ok, as they then have x amount of time to come a collect it from you.

I'm sure they are all being totally honest

In the first official MotoGP test in Sepang , the new 800's have already dipped under the old lap record

the bikes are owned by the consignee until the insurers pay out at which time they belong to the insurers.

good for spare only.

as for the other stuff, still theft but perhaps less chance of being caught
