Stating the obvious, but make sure the bike is upright when checking the level, and not on the side stand

Just be careful what oil you put in a bike .

its often said that theres no difference between bike specific and car oils , its not true .

Just remember that a bike clutch runs in the engine oil , well most that i am aware of or interested in anyway, some car oils have additives which bugger about with the clutch friction plates .

I cant run some oils in the Busa as it makes the clutch grab really hard , to a point that it is dangerous , it may not happen for a week then just as you want to drag away , bang you are in shite street .

I tried a castrol Fully Synth too , and that caused it , a lot of the tuners only bother with semi synth and its been good for my Busa , which gets ridden with an on off throttle everywhere .

I like Rok oil

ps , if your bike is out of warranty , i wouldnt take it to a main high street dealer for a service where they mostly have muppets .

Experience of sump plugs not being tightened , gear levers not being tightened and brakes not being bled properly , it goes on , and i suggest that the situation is far worse with bike dealers than it is with the Honda car dealers

I would take it to a smaller shop or enthusiast that is interested in tuning the thing rather than just swapping out service parts, most bike ecus can be flashed to provide a more specific bike map , the maps dont always neccesarily swap over from similar bikes with similar mods either .

Authorities are to close a motorway to assist with a top speed record attempt , seriously its true , but of course not over here , In the US .

Can you imagine the response if we asked for that ?
I dont know what the big deal is though , we had a guy go in excess of 265 this year

Mind you , I know a couple of guys who use particular roads for their late night, real dyno runs , just they dont quite have all the paperwork in place for it to be legal

Bigger --> increased torque (less top end....like I need it!)
