I like the way they look

I just vowed never to buy another Yam after a disatrous experience with a new one 5 years ago , so i am biassed

A new bike with a blown head gasket !
Then developed porous engine casings at 2000 miles and they wanted to repair it .

I wanted to pay some more and have it replaced , they wouldnt even consider it , so I swapped it in for the Busa .

Never again for me Mr Yamaha

San, my advice would be to go to the dealerships & try a few bikes on for size - some can be very uncomfortable depending on your height / arm length / handlebar positioning.

At Silverstone yesterday at the Bike races there was a stand selling full leathers for

Off back to my folks next weekend so will check out some local dealers.

Dan...not working next weekend after all, so won't be in Poole mate.
