With the recent purchase of a Caterham, I'm struggling to justify keeping the S and whilst I've got access to my brother's Discovery and a trailer I probably need to get a tow car of my own for when he starts using his rally car.

I don't really want to spend much more than the current value of my S, so around the

so I would have thought a 330 for that money would be do-able. If your not doing a lot of miles a big petrol engine might be a better buy as the diesels seem to hold value and also all the ones I looked at had done megga miles!!!!

Quick search on autotrader shows a few petrol 330 Touring thingies, what are they like to drive though?

I think the scooby's going to be difficult to beat on that.

A Legacy would've been my first choice, really like them but pretty sure it won't go in my garage unless I climb out through the rear hatch.......hmmmmmm, would that be so bad?

What's the Volvo like on servicing etc? I want to stay away from exotic (can you use that word when talking about volvos? ) top of the range things so am looking at 330s rather than M3s IYSWIM.

If I'm not too hungover tomorrow I'll pop into my local beemer dealer tomorrow and have a look.
