fully comp when using another's car
For your info
Not sure if this covers test driving other people's cars, but I can't see why it wouldn't. And, it might help those who want to test drive a car with a view to buying. If you have an Adrian Flux insurance policy on your car, you can pay an extra £25 to get fully comp when driving another’s car, rather than the 3rd party norm.

When I was looking for my 3[sup]rd[/sup] S2000 I needed to get insured each time, which quickly mounted up.
I haven’t read the small print, so not sure whether there is a huge excess or similar, but this would appear to be a bargain.
My son has just insured his type R with them again, paying th eextra, so can now drive my S2000 without me fretting.
BTW - I have no connection in any way with Flux except I currently have my accord insured with them.

You're covered 3rd party if you have a comp policy, just agree a bend it, bought it approach

Do you need to tell them, or do they just insure you for any other car?
What'd be nice if driving multiple cars, whether owned by you or not, just came as standard with every policy. It's not like you can drive more than one at a time.

Beware, it's not a given that you're 3rd party on other cars with fully comp insurance. I found that out a long time ago. Thankfully no issues!

I nearly got caught by that, but it was mentioned here. When I complained to For Flux' Sake, they re-instated it with no additional premium? WTF's all that about?
