Ferrari Appreciation..
yup!
The other night the Missus and I decided to go out for a late night blast. Prior to the drive, I needed to go and put in some petrol, only to be met with a lovely F355 Cab' in front. I was behind him at the lights, and I think the guy had his son or something in the car, as he was giving it some revs.
I thought I would have a little bit of a game (nothing stupid) and gave it a few revs too. When the lights changed, he put his foot down and speed off - for a laugh i did the same. Was nothing silly as;
A) The A217 is a 40mph limit
and
B) there are always loads of police around there, but i took it up to probably around 65 before promptly dropping back down to 40.
Suprisingly i kept up for a bit. A bit is all it lasted of course as I knew i wouldnt really have a chance, and its dangerous
We met at the next set of lights where he leaned out and shouted "Bloody nice car mate!!" Both people putting their thumbs up and gave us a big grin!
Naturally the g/f was embarrassed by it, but I thought it was a nice compliment - especially coming from someone in a classic supercar. I was half expecting some arsy comment tbh but was pleasantly suprised
Nice to know the love for the S spreads through other car enthusiasts too

I'll never forget the time we were in Maranello in the S, and had just visited the Galleria.
We stopped at the lights and a group of about 6 Italian bikers pulled up behind and along side of us.
One of the riders lifted his visor and said "what a beautiful car".
