Coulthard has been superb at Red Bull.
He suffered Alonso's fate at McLaren - always being partnered by Ron's golden boys.
Webber has been crap in comparison.
This could be a tricky year for Hamilton, as he'll likely be number one driver and has little experience of setting up an F1 car, especially if it turns out to be slower than the Ferraris. An established driver like Coulthard brought in to help him and teach him the ropes could be invaluable.
Having said that I think Red Bull are going to be quick this year. They've built up a formidible team.

True.
But I think Newey is in charge of the design team now...
Was Patrick Head not the engineering/design head honcho with that car?
Not really too sure but his record at McLaren for reliability was woeful.

I thought the idea was it was easier to make a quick car more reliable.. than a reliable car quick..
and newey has a big an impact on reliability.. because aero is a lot about packaging everything into the minimum of space.. and disrupting airflow the least..
for example, how thin do you want to go on a wishbone profile and where to attach it to the chassis..

I do have to agree on Newey. He's very much of the Chapman school of thought, that a fast car that can do more than a race distance is over-engineered. Unfortunately Newey doesn't seem to have found the happy medium.

We have a brand new production facility that we are just moving into now and is 3 times the size of our last factory space. They are really going for the podiums next year.
In the 9 years i have worked there (Stewart, Jag and Red Bull) this is the first time i have felt like we are going places.
