I don't think anyone has a hope in hell of getting Rosberg except McLaren, and even then only for at least $20m. They've stated they don't want to buy anyone out of an existing contract.

and now the rumours of schumacher coming back to F1 to drive for Maclaren have started.

Surprised the rumours haven't started about Mika Hakkinen coming back!

He only retired on Friday.

I thought the deal with Schumi coming back was with his own VAG F1 team. That was the rumour last year!

Can't see Schumi coming back. Though it would be interesting to see him in a McLaren alongside Hamilton!

As for McLaren buying out another driver, I can't see it either. Not after that fine anyway. Though they should now save (?)

Hamilton's only on a very low 6 figure sum. I reckon Kovi will be on about the same, going from Renault's frugal reputation.

That article says that Rosberg is German. Is that right? I was convinced that Keke Rosberg was Finnish Has Nico got dual nationality or something?

I'm a bit surprised Nakajima has been retained - he appeared to be pretty clueless when I saw him race, on the occasion that he nearly mowed down a couple of his pit crew. I had assumed it was just because he could pay his way but that article says he was GP2 rookie of the year, so I guess he must have at least SOME ability....
