I like Monaco: the cars look that much more spectacular on a street circuit. The boring races are often the ones on big wide tracks where the cars look a bit lost (like China), and there there's pleanty of room to overtake. Dullest of all is Barcelona, because the long fast corners mean they can't get close to each other.

Part of the problem with radical restrictions in aerodynamics is that the teams have all spent millions on wind tunnels, so it would be a bit harsh to expect them to abandon it altogether. However I'm sure they could work out some restrictions that would allow them to run closer. A1GP cars were designed with that in mind.

I'd like to see slick tyres too, but only because it makes racing cars seem that bit more special.

Two new street circuits is all good IMO. As much as safety is good, they seem to be taking the spectacle more seriously, which is a step in the right direction.

I disagree about Hamilton....I believe he is good enough to adapt and cope.

Time will tell.
I don't think the problem will be adapting. Where I think Hamilton will struggle is in developing the car through the season - I think this is the point Alonso made (so badly!) but it's true. Development of the car over the season will be the key to winning the championship between McLaren and Ferrari and you've got to back Ferrari's setup what with more experienced racers as well as their unsung hero Luca Badoer.

As you say time will tell and that's why I'll keep tuning in

I will do what I usually do, that is ... I willl watch the first five or six races hoping that something different will happen this year. Nothing will change, there will be no overtaking Ferrari will get all the favours I will be shaking my head whispering 'same old, same old' at which point I will only watch occasioujnally throughout the remainder of the season pining for the days of Senna Prost and Mansell.

Maybe, just maybe Hamilton will change this ... but as pointed out he has hardly any experience, can his driving skills alone be enough I hope so, really I want to like F1 again, I miss it.
