We'll have to disagree on Trulli and Fisi and RS...
I'd agree with the rest you mention. It would be great to see what they could do.

Most boring race of the season thus far ?
as usual with Monaco lots of hype and not much substance

I thought it was a great race. Full of tension and fear.
Alonso was able to use his experience in order to get the measure of his young team mate. Experience through that place counts for a lot, and Hamilton looked ragged throughout. He did well, but I hope reality is setting in that although he's good, he's not going to be champion this year. He needs to win a coupleof races for that to become a possibility IMO.
There were shades of Prost and Senna today, with the rookie desperate to live up to his illustrious team mate. It just seems now that Alonso is able to keep Hamilton's pace with far less effort, I hope he's now turned the corner and has settled in to how the McLaren works. Kimi seems he has yet to get there.
Once Hamilton calms down and gets a season under his belt, I don't see why he can't be champ, but this year I just don't believe he has all the ingredients to beat Alonso. I hope Massa closes the gap, he's been driving very well for the last 9 or 10 months.

stay in the top team
rely on Alonso NOT improving
and staying out of the top team
rely on Ferrari not improving
hope MS doesn't return
he is proving he is a top six driver, but that is a very long way from winning a championship
I see a good few years of coming second ahead
