Remember that grey VXR8 I had.

Been thinking about what to replace it with for a while now, never really found anything else that suited so well.

But I've eventually came up with the answer.

It's a black one.

Conclusion:
There is no replacement.

Thanks, it's good to be back in something decent again.

It is a 6.2, came with the Walkinshaw performance pack which from what I can gather is the exhaust, different air filter and a retune, its certainly more vocal than the last one.

Whats an Otrcai?
Air intake?

Yes, pops and bangs from the exhaust on the overun, think I'll let the neighbours get used to that first before geting a different intake.

Do you notice much difference when you push the bi-modal button, seems to make very little difference to mine, but then I seem to remember the same thing when I test drove one with it fitted a couple of years ago.

The difference is so slight I may as well do the same.

Doesn't seem to be upsetting anyone though, only had compliments so far, even from people who would not normally talk anything about cars.

For some reason it seems not to bring out the usual car hate nonsense that you would normally expect.

I've already discovered that by accident, was going through town and tried to stop the pops by slightly touching the accelerator.

Big mistake, fun though.

The car has become something quite rare, a modern saloon car with character that's still fun to drive, not many about.
