Default Driver training in the North West?

I see the Car Limits days are down South, are there any performance car training companies that cater for the North West and you would recommend?

Giff, are you after on track/airfield or road?

Both would probably be beneficial, what sort of training is available on the road?

People like Ride Drive do the road nationally.

DDP do something similar to Car Limits and are in Warickshire, not quite North West

There is a market up in the north for this!

I'd had a bit of a Google earlier and found the Ride Drive website, they seem to have someone pretty much everywhere in the UK and a few quite closeby. I'm not sure its what I'm looking for.

I'll hopefully be in something mid engined by the weekend and it will be completely new to me so its a shame there don't appear to be any airfield type, explore the limits days oop 'ere.

Car Limits are also at Blyton Park near Gainsborough, Lincs.
Not sure if Andy Walsh travels up to coach or not.

A few of us recently booked Paul O'Neill as an instructor at a track day recently.

He's a really top guy and a very good instructor. I got more from him in a few sessions than I have from the combined efforts of the instructors I have had from around 8 trackdays over the past 18 months.

I think he's based at Oulton Park, but will travel as we booked him at Castle Combe.

It's not cheap, but if there are a few of you then it's really very reasonable.

Paul is a top top chap, I didn't know he did that Lee - it's good to know.

He's sporty spice's brother, did you know that?

I did know that, but I didn't mention it as apparently he doesn't like to name drop her.

He had plenty of interesting touring car stories though.
