surely the answer to that, is to hire the track for a limited number of people?
not the usual melee and mix of enthusiasts and chavscum that I seem to see
last time I looked, the prices didn't look prohibitive

You can do the MRSA days-only "racing drivers" allowed. You can overtake on both sides as well.
I think you mean MSA licence holders - test days. If so, the only snag is that some (but not all) circuits require you to have full safety equipment fitted to the car (ie. cage, extinguisher etc.) as per the 'blue book' (the MSA regulations).
I do the odd test day every now and again, Combe were always OK with the S2000 and the Exige.
