I've just posted my first car sale on the FS/WTB thread. Any comments on price etc. would be greatly appreciated.

Let the stress begin!

I've also always solf to the first person who has been to visit the car in the flesh, mine are always utterly spotless - and I make sure they have next to nothing to pick holes in.

I traded in once, mainly as I couldnt shift my 306 GTI6 and desperately was after a car at a dealer - in the end they gave me a good price so it was ok.

As it is my S3 is now up for sale, hopefully wont be too hard but lots about so it will be heavily price lead - even though it has ideal options, colour etc etc

Mine usually fly like that too; I CBA to play piss-ball with price haggling etc, so the first to see usually drives away.

Purely as a matter of academic interest, what is the ideal colour/spec/price for an S3?

Price - as low as possible ofcourse

Spec - Ideal wants are Bose Stereo, CD and heated seats mainly - autodip mirror and sunroof next.

Also ideally needs to be black/blue/silver other colours yellow, green, red are harder to shift for obvious reasons - another biggy is the interior - you could either have all black leather or all silver leather BUT some people went for part alcantara that was blue! and sometimes other colours. Needless to say, these are a bit of a personal taste.

Here are some combos for non middle of the road people!

My car is black, full black leather with just about every option bar satnav - but there are lots to choose from so I dont think mine will fly away unless I make it super cheap, its probably about a grand too high right now.

Blimey! Those interiors are bad.

Come back Civic Jordan; all is forgiven.

Think you're right; it's either black/black or f cuk off, really.

I'm still trying to figure out how anyone can get excited by a self-dipping rear view mirror...

Oh well, in the words of Paul Weller, "the more I know, the less I understand...".

I've only had the Del Sol up for sale for 2 days, and I think i'm cursed.

I went out to take some more shots with the roof/boot in operation and found a big crack on the windscreen . I phoned up Autoglass who quoted me

Just claim for it. The insurance get massive discounts from autoglass and it'll only cost you
