Very cold last night and a thick frost on all of the cars in the street.

I think I am the only one who actually uses the garage.

Took me about 2-3 minutes to de-ice the car this morning. With a scraper..

Then later in my journey I saw a car that had used the warm water trick to clear their rear screen.. very pretty patterns in the ice that had reformed

Seems that when it's -5C you're better off with a small amount of manual labour

I loved it when I came down this morning and the car was all iced up, it meant I could use the front electric windscreen again and it cleared it in no time

You a bitter boy then? Northerners drink that stuff don't they? I love going into Northern pubs and asking for a pint of ' Pedigree Chum '

Anything actually, but a preference for bitter. Warm bitter, not that crappy cold stuff out of the taps.
