Don't know much about the E36. Running costs for the E46 are really high, so I'd check that out first.

That does seem a bit over-priced IMO. I don't profess to know a huge amount about cars but I looked at M3's whilst still considering the S and that seems to be priced a little generously toward the seller.

Overpriced .

I also recon the E36 is now in Chav territory. That would make it a no-no for me.

Save up for an E46 tin-top

yep, probably still a pretty good car but overpriced and chav-tastic these days.

After starting this post I looked at the E46 much better car..


..and your all right the E36 is starting to be in Chav territory.

Think I'll stick with the S for a little longer.

Lovely looking car in my opinion can be some reliability issues most notabley the Vanos unit which costs about
