Default Considering another Evo IX

As much as I love my S2000, I do miss the straight line surge that the Evo gives.

Supercharging has been a consideration. How much HP can the standard block take?

SC won't give you a turbo shove though, it's quite linear... that said, so is the delivery of the Evo.

My Evo was around 430bhp, relentless from around 3800 rpm onwards. Good old Mase map on it.

I assure you it does, I've got both and the the s2000 certainly has more of a shove than the Evo, and feels much more brutal. I find the Evo is more linear than the SC S2k, and tails off a lot earlier. When the revs rise with the s2k it really goes.

HKS/0.7bar/348bhp@hubs

Haven't had it on track yet but I do have a Setrab oil cooler supplied by Ben @ Hel. I don't see it having oil temp issues as it runs very cool on the road, almost a little too cool in these temps, and even considered taping it up on the road.

More info on the kit here: https://www.s2ki.com/s2000/topic/110...-sc-kit-topic/
