Oh bugger, forgot the 288GTO. Yeah, the Berlinetta Boxer looked great but it was a pig of a car. Still, nice big flat 12 behind you, can't go wrong.

You didn't like the 456? I thought it was gorgeous in dark blue. Mind you, I saw one the other day coming out of Cribbs Causeway B&Q (of ALL places!) and it was gold.

I'm afraid the 599 and 612 Spaghetti Bolognaise are in my opinion. Tiny, myopic headlights and crazy rear ends. They could grow on me though... (like a fungus... yes, yes...)

The 250 GTO looked superb because it was purely the product of the wind tunnel.

No twatty 'stylists' went anywhere near it.

Then the 250GT was perfectly proportioned & understated, so was the 275GTB that replaced it. The 365GTB/4 that replaced the 275 was the pinnacle of front-engined GT design. Even later, with five doors & a Buick V8!

The Dini 246 & 308 berlinette were very pretty, dainty cars too.

SD1 har, har!

It's time the professional stylists came up with their own language to capture the spirit of the 50's and 60's sports racers.

I blame aerodynamics

i.e. It isn't that hard to bolt a few 'classic' tweaks to a modern car and improve the looks - being original is much harder.
