Default Company Cars - Advisory Fuel rates

Although not breaking news, I forgot to check in December what the new payment rates were to company car drivers.

One pence more - big deal given the huge hike in Diesel prices recently.

Anyone else really impressed?!

Im wondering who gets what.

We have just been revised down from 14ppm on a <2l diesel to 12ppm.
The new HMRC guideline figure.
So hard to complain but given curent rates and likely Diesel costs next month you would need to AVERAGE about 50mpg to break even.
The guide is based upon £1.19 litre, its been £1.29 plus for some time now.

I see some employers have upped to 15 or 16ppm due to the fuel increase.
And to take a cut is pretty harsh given our financials appear to be positive.

Anyone like to share what rates they receive, and if its above the HMRC guide or not?

Thanks,
Steve

They've always been way behind the real world, they are just getting further behind
