£12k of options? your are joking?
I'm not joking:

Recaro seats
4-point harnesses
Rear seats removed and replaced with CF bulkhead cover
Oil temp/pressure & water temp gauges
CF bonnet and front wings
Trackday tyres
etc.

Dunno; some'd pay that for a Mini or an Audi or something.

Whole world's gone mad!

Funny things these.

I don't think you can add up all the parts and compare them to a typical boy racer bolt on special, greater than the sum of parts and all that.

I can understand that sort of money for a factory built competion car but they're not that.

They're surely only of real interest to collectors, they don't serve any other purpose I can think of.

Nothing wrong with that though

Very clever marketing.
The target market is not the majority on this forum

But as per the Golf whatsitsname - it will sell out.

Presumably it's designed as a track car, in a similar vein to a GT3RS, which costs £20k more than a GT3. Or you can "Unique yourself" and buy a "Sport Classic" for £140k with lots of carbon fibre bits.

Wish I'd brought the mailer into work now to scan and show you all. Oh well, I'll take it along on the Ricky Run on Sunday and show it around. It's still just a Civic, despite all the Mugen bells and whistles!
