Default cheap 1 yr lease

If anyone wanted a new cheap run-around for a year.. I just received an email from a reputable lease firm offering a Peugeot 1.4 S 207 5dr on a 1yr lease (3+11) @£206.99/mth inc VAT. It's a depreciation beater if you wanted a new car

Not sure if I am able to say who is offering this with the rules on this forum

Little chinese lady if that helps

So you're paying £2.5k for a 207 for a year?

less if put through a business, but I see your point (I think)

some people think it's good value to shell out three or four times that on something ghastly like a Range Rover

each to their own I suppose

Having driven that exact model as a hire car from Birmingham airport to Hereford and back (a month ago), I would say the following:

Handling is pretty good
Steering and gearbox were not at all precise
Performance is better than expected for a tiny engine
Build quality was average, in fact I broke a piece of trim being heavy handed in my 4h with the car

I wouldn't pay £200/month for the privilege of driving it, although can see your point that it's no worse than depreciation on a new car.
