Default CBT Theory Test

I've finally decided to do the bike test. I'm going to do a 3 day intensive course with Vision in St. Albans (heard good reports)

Anyway, need to do the theory bit first and there was a cancellation so I'm doing it at 4pm tomorrow.

I've done the questions - got 34 out of 35 IIRC when someone posted a link on here so not too concerned about that, but what's the hazard perception part like?

You mean DAS I presume? - Hazard perception bit is easy. I'd practise it though to make sure you are clicking the mouse at the right time. You should be ok though.
I see the vision guys around work quite a lot. You will probably have lunch in Marshalswick Quadrant

The hazard perception is pretty self explanatory at the centre when you go for the test. Basically click the mouse when you see a (absolutely any) potential hazard developing! Again you have to get a reasonably low percentage to pass.

Its worth having a flick through all of the bike specific questions you could get asked as I could have come unstuck otherwise...

eg How wide a trailer can you tow?? etc etc...

Good man.

Are you going to get a litre bike, just to annoy San?

I stress the "absolutely any" but I don't recall it being a low percentage to pass - was it about 60%?

I guess you're right (44 from 75 required)

I think the system is imperfect when marking though as I reckon you can anticipate too early if that makes any sense. (And your response isn't recorded).

I got the DVD (hazard perception one) and it was pretty useful (plus lots of Suzi Perry too )

I found the hazard perception harder than expected - might have struggled a bit had I not practiced with a CD.
