Ladas WERE bad & slow. Especially compared to a proper FIAT 124.

I still fried my discs chasing a P6B in a 124...

I had a few P6 Rovers. The best were an early 3500 auto and a late 3500S (the manual).

There aren't many cars I want to drive, but those I can think of at the moment would be:

An Isetta bubble car (no idea why - some fantasy about rolling it maybe)
Any 50's F1 car (wet dreams, etc)
A genuine old Shelby Cobra (over powered is always interesting)
The current Roller (I've seen them built from bare shells on the production line)

>70 mph in a TG500? That must feel like a BF109E with a Spitfire behind it!

i really can't think of anything that i think i ought to try? iv'e never driven any modern supercar so i suppose that would be someting to try if i could but just more curiosity than the need. i have driven some great cars (and some not so great) over the years though.

i'll see if i can remember some and will probably have to update the thread. being a mechanic with a passion for older cars, even when i was at a main dealership, i always got the oddball stuff to work on.

Mine ?

Lancia Delta Integrale

Lancia Stratos (I fully intend to buy a Hawk replica)

Porsche 356 (replica will do, with a 2.7 911 engine in) I intend to do that too

This weekend I have a Ferrari 458 on loan, its simply stunning. I was happy with my 911 until this bloody thing arrived..... It is technology, and pants wetting combined !!
