Done;

Defender properly off road - the capability will leave you speechless.
Caterfield etc. on the road - as raw as a road car gets.
'Slicks and wings' race car on track - until you do, you'll never know how quickly a car can go round corners.
Modern supercar on the road - it's only then you realise how utterly pointless most of them are.

To do;

Classic racecar on track - I need to experience this to know just how good my heros were (Moss and Fangio, so a Maserati 250F would be perfect, thanks).
Do a rally stage properly - keep meaning to get this booked, but having owned an Integrale and an Impreza, I'd like to see where they really showed their strengths.

I'd like to try a Hypercar like a Zonda or Konegzigfgigieigjig.

And today, walking past classiccarclub.co.uk I had a massive urge to go and buy a classic Lotus

NSX but try the 3.0 litre as the VTEC is more Marked than the 3.2.

Ferrari 550 or 575 - it has to have 12 cylinders in the front - the soundtrack is special

Early Aston Martin V8 - just so you realise hoe agricultural and slow they were.

BMW 3.0l CSL - I remember them racing against Frank Gardner's Ford Galaxiy at Silverstone

Original AC Cobra

Ford GT40

Chelsea Tractor: RR, Cayenne, X5
German Super Saloon: M3, M5, C class AMG, Audi S and RS
Pure driving pleasure: Elise, Caterfield, Atom
2 seater roadster: mx5, barchetta, s2000, slk,
Mid engined car: boxster, elise, mr2, NSX
Properly race prepped car: any normalish car that's been stripped, suspension tweaked, sticky rubber etc
Classic fast without speed: MGB, Stag (not my area of expertise)
Jings, looks like I have driven at least one from every category, seems life as a car salesman had another advantage I missed at the time.

When I got to thinking about it, I've driven quite a few on the lists above; Mk 2 Jag, E Type, D Type replica, Aston DB6 Super Legera, Original Mini, Pug 205 GTi, Original M3 Evo Cab, Aston V8 Vantage, even a Maestro Turbo (fecking quick that one; for a Maestro anyway ).

So in now particular order here's a list of 'sensible' wishes:

RS500 Sierra Cosworth

Escort Cosworth

Lancia Delta Integrale Evo

BMW M5 V10

Evo 10

Any TVR

Caterfield

The list goes on and on...

Is this dependent money or by likely/easily accessible cars?, everyone should try a mclaren mp412c at least once but its highly unlikely most people will be able to.

Cobra is a good call
I drove an escort cosworth rally car and it was unbelievable, in 3rd it pulled like it was still in 1st
Everyone should ride a sports bike, even if only in a straight line

I'd like to drive
a muira
Lancia integrale
Mini cooper (original)
TVR v8
F40
RS200
Ford GT40
205gti
Sierra cosworth

Sorry, most are pricey.

I still haven't driven a 911 and it's starting to bug me now.

It needs to be on track and it needs to be a full on race car or a GTSomethingOrOther.

I've got an E30 M3 drive coming soon, that makes me happy
