Car tax
What is the soonest I can tax a car for next month that I have just purchased?
I dont have the usual reminder slip that comes in the post as Im not the registered keeper yet. I know when you have this its about 10 days before.
The car has currently no tax and hasnt for three months.
Cheers
Lloyd

On a normal renewal, you can only apply from on or after the 15th of the month in which the current disc expires.
Not sure whether that's different if you're applying to take the vehicle off a SORN and tax it again though. On the couple of occasions I've had to call the DVLA helpline they've actually been quoite helpful so maybe worth giving them a bell.
