Yep I know that

I was kind of asking if they have any major flaws, like VANOS on BMW, or bushes on the S2000.

not that I know of

most Ferraris do low mileages, so it can take a very long time before problems like that show up

I'd just go with a specialist inspection tbh

Low mileage Ferraris are the bane of Italia Autosport - a revered brand specialist in Huddersfield.

The issues with my low mileage Mondial QV were lack of use issues - it's the old adage again "use it or lose it".

Biggish mileages frighten off the unenlightened propsective Ferrari owner, yet such can provide a reliable and great value purchase.

As the man above says - a credible inspection is the way to go.

And don't buy yellow, silver or any other colour.

Red with crema leather (or black if you must) is the way to go IMO.

Anything else is just wrong.

Low-cost ferraris have to be red to appeal to the next buyer. But if you're buying for yourself and for keeps, Yellow or White is the way to go!

I couldn't possibly comment.

Since beginning driving (almost 30 years ago...) I've owned 7 motorcycles (one currently) and 47 cars (5 currently).

It's a sickness...

Ah good man, like myself you have the same affliction

Cars are my passion - hence I hope it's not taken the wrong way asking about buying an Italian supercar. I don't have many other vices in life.

Jamie, I like to have a plan. There are many cars on it, and i'm slowly crossing them off. I've tried all the Jap stuff I want to bar the GTR!
