Default Build Your Own Mini Ferrari

Just reading about this guy who has built his own 1/4 scale Ferrari 312PB:

http://www.craftsmanshipmuseum.com/Scerri.htm

Even the dials on the dashboard work

1/4 scale working Ferrari V12

Amazing stuff! Definitely something I'd love to have a go at! Some other good stuff on the site too.

Seen this car on Clarkson's Motorworld a few years back.
Absolutely amazing engineering feat, it also sounds amazing when he fired it up.

I remember seeing this some years back featured on TV. Tiff Needell was doing the voice over so it's very possible it was old Top Gear. I remember them saying that the car was fully driveable with working gears. Nice to see the guy finally finished it after 15 years

I wonder if you told him when he started that it would take 15 years to complete, whether he'd have carried on?
