Default BMW review: Can someone do me a favour please

I read this review and couldn't believe it:

http://uk.cars.ign.com/articles/749/749352p1.html

Can somebody else read it, just so I know I'm not on my own with these shocked thoughts at what was typed.

All in the eye of the beholder I suppose.

Having owned a 320d se. OK so not a coupe and not a 3.5l one I'd have to say thet they are well built. QUick and relaxing to drive, but ultimately uninspiring and uninvolving. Lacking character if you will.

S2000 is a different world entirely, no chance of nodding off in an S!

Styling? quite like it, but NOT the most beautiful car ever (see Aston Martin DB9/ lambourghini gallardo)

So, according to the reviewer, the interior is perfect, apart from the iDrive, which controls everything in the interior. Makes a lot of sense, that!

Just another fanboy review, similar to what you'd get on this forum for the S2000.

I'll give this guy a job.

Reminds me of the Sniff Petrol parody once about car eulogies in print, where "a BMW soure said the interior of one M5 returned from Autocar was 'drenched in spunk'."

I really liked the 335i, but this guy is WAAAY over the top.

Mind you... does this fanboy write-up back up the theory that BMW is targeting US audiences ith its designs? Hmm, a dark undercurrent there...

there is a BMW dealer near me

and some of the salespeople are right twats

so I am just itching for the first time I encounter a 335i being demonstrated

there are a couple of routes that I know they take

one of which offers a fabulous p-them-right-off opportunity

picture a slip road 400m long - long enough for the car in front to get up speed

joining a stretch of three lane non-motorway

it means that you can almost always destroy the car in front - even if they decide to play silly buggers and go straight into the right hand lane when the other two lanes are empty

then there's a camera about 1 mile ahead and the road reverts to two lanes

all in all, the perfect place to see which car is quicker and enjoy the fly-by

I never initiate anything

But I am a good finisher

And a little straight line fun is harmless enough

You won't catch me playing silly buggers with other people's lives

I leave that to the diesel drivers of this world

ps have you ever noticed the car/driver least up for it?

it's the Boxster/male by a mile

Terrible writing style, and obviously was wined and dined a little too much by BMW before writing that review

Short overhang at the rear? Have you SEEN the final picture in that article?
