Think you've got a good'un there San - lovely big engine, that M54, but make sure you keep it topped up with oil; they tend to use a bit, if the experiences of some peeps are to go by.
Great car though. That model of 5-Series was still winning group tests in its class at the end of its life. Seven years of domination of the mid-sized exec market; not bad at all.
