GTR - looked fantastic, sounded even better
This was nearly the first GTR to be written off in the UK as well-3 abreast coming out of knickerbrook on the grass verge

He was behind me and two other cars waiting to pass a slower car. It all happened very quickly but he either a) got very impatient, or b) thought I was going to let him pass. Either way, he was beind so would have been at fault.

Not a very well run track day-Dave managed to get 10 ish pax laps without paying and no joke he could have had the Z4M on the track without a cent handed over.

Just too many cars

Hopefully the incident with the 330i was the closest I will ever come to punching someone at a trackday.

SUPERB! I'm jealous as hell; I've been trying to talk a mate of mine into doing just this as he has the garage/drive.

Great choice of car too chaps; I'd also be looking at an E30; In fact I've had my eye on the 320is (the LHD stealthy E30 M3 that the Italians and Portugeezers got ); either that or a 325i

What's your itinery for this year then; I'd love to come along and take a look at some point.
We are just sorting out trackdays to come and we'll let you know

IMO don't get the 320i, in no way is it an M3.

Either get a 316/318-so you have the option to enter it into the PBMW championship at some point or go for the 325i

Or...go for an engine swap, including the F20C

More than happy to chat more about it

No, not the 320i Moggy, the 320is; or is that what you meant anyway?

I've just looked at the E30 M3's on Pistonheads thinking that theyd have dropped since I last looked; Kinell, they've rocketed in value since I looked 4 years ago; there are only a handful on there and they're mostly

[QUOTE=Moggy,Mar 24 2009, 07:54 PM] I meant either 320 - I guess the only differences between both are an lsd and different suspension.

LSD's can be bought for

Ahh-ok, wires crossed.

I never knew about those, but I imagine they will also be relatively expensive.

I think most would say a well screwed together model with reduced weight and a bit of money thrown at it in different areas will not be too far away from the M3.

BTW would really like to own an E30M3 but not as a track toy-think they look fantastic.
