Well I took it out today for a 'test' it has just had the following done:
New pads and disks
New adjustable Spax suspension all round with a 60F/40R drop, it is very low also replaced all top mounts
Handbrake lever replaced
Z3 gear shift lever fitted

The gear lever makes a world of difference. As does the suspension it needs setting up properly but already feels much much better.

Looking forward to getting it out now

These things seem to be really popular at the Ring, and saw a couple at Spa too!

The car will be stripped Saturday morning. Mark (chilled ) thanks for the offer of stripping the car but I think we should manage, however you are more than welcome to come down.

Oh, and Lee has this idea that a socket set and wrench will be enough tools to strip the car

We'll stick some pics up.

A feckin hammer and the sole of my shoe will suffice.

I'm looking for trackdays now...

Well Stanley and his mates did a sterling job today. All seats, carpet, trim and some unnecessary cables removed. Inside of car and boot hovered to get rid of 20 years of shite. I did get some pictures but have no idea as yet how to get them off of my phone and the bluetooth idea I had turned out to be slightly more complicated that nuclear fission.

Car is much lighter and feels quicker already
Getting new poly bushes on the front and the handbrake sorted this week and out next week at Oulton hopefully.....
