LOL, the Megane R26.R looks alot quicker than FD2 on the straight...

how much bhp???
230bhp flywheel standard.
Stg2 remap and injectors will see at most 270 without turbo mods.

Same engine and tranny as my R26 which is not a lot slower from experience of the both of them.

Main thing is see how much less aggro than the Honda to drive quickly. No drama.

M3 gets battered!

Gotta laugh at the M3 off the start ... it gets murdered! After watching that, unless you have 70k plus to spend ... Lotus anything wins, so little weight to carry.

Watching the last 'race' it's immediately apparent how easy that Skyline is to drive quickly compared to the other stuff. I did wonder if the reason he was being careful at the start was due to the passenger safety system ......

Warning contains excuses

Tsu didn't seem to be driving it particularly hard, seemed more interested in drifting it. Based on lap times at most tracks it should have battered those cars (exige exempt)

Plus he has way way too much wheels spin off the start. He's obviously not used too powerful torque monsters just ricer turbo's, and high revving NA's

Excellent post, 2 of the cars i want too! the exige cup and Nissan GTR .

Seemed some of the cars launched far better than others, quite a good mix too.

I can confirm Gallardo are very bloody quick, when i drove one it blew me away the sheer acceleration was amazing, i remember getting in the S later in the day booting it and just thinking 'this is shit' - though you have to be a 5foot jap/itai to get in those gallardo's the wheel arch is right on your foot when inside .

Outright lap time was only slightly slower than the Exige. Tsu wasn't driving that M3 as quickly as it can be peddled in the race. It doesn't oversteer that much unprovoked.

Seemed to be revving very slow as well.

Irrespective of lap time i'd take the Honda over any of those other cars. No drama with the renault but no excitement either.

I'm not suprised by the FD2 vs the R26.R, the R26.R is around 30kg's lightier and up on power by ~10bhp.

More i see of the R26.R the more i like , but I'd never buy one.

R26.R just seemed so much easier to drive faster.

This is a fair test of the M3.

In the Best Motoring vids, I don't think it's designed to cope with things like a Spec C / Exige. Should beat the others though.
