TBF, BMWs (like the 02) have alway been far king pig ugly and as plush as a schoolroom.
Really it's all about the drive. Unfortunately, every time one sees a girl's tiny wee head just about poking above the ridiculouly high waistline of a 1er, one assumes she's merely a badge snob and not driving that slowly because she can't see out of it.

These 130i's aren't particularly liked by the motoring press; head to head against the Golf R32 the 130i loses out in each test I have read... Not that I'd have either, but that's just what I've read (and seen on TV)...
