Default Anyone with a 2.2 VTEC Prelude?

Chaps a guy i work with has a 2.2 Prelude on a 94 and its done 160k..

He has a car show in Holland over the weekend and his is on display.

So, he has decided to change the oil before driving to ensure everything is perfect, but what oil would be best for this old high miler??

I use 5/40 synthetic - cheapest available - don't burn it that much!!
Then again my mileage is lower.

As above, in the Prelude (only 2.0) and ITR I have now switched to 10w40 to stop having to top up every 100 miles, still use fully synthetic though, Castrol GTX magnetec I think.

Farked if I know, missus.

That Castrol GTX stuff is what I use in all three. Because that's what the dealer puts in.

The H22 is not Honda's most reliable engine, but it's still pretty tough compared to others.
